September 18, 2025Sara Wikberg new CEO of Geelmuyden Kiese in Sweden
Geelmuyden Kiese Sweden has appointed Sara Wikberg as its new CEO. Sara Wikberg has many years of experience in the communications industry and joined Geelmuyden Kiese in connection with its acquisition of Wikberg&Frisk in September 2023.
Since the acquisition two years ago, Sara has been COO and Head of MarCom at the agency and has had a central role in the strategic development of the agency’s offering. She has successfully developed the internal culture and contributed to strengthening the agency’s position in the market and creating new business opportunities.
“Over the past year, Leif Geiger has skilfully led Geelmuyden Kiese in Stockholm, with strong support from Sara Wikberg. Under their leadership, we have seen strong growth, increased client satisfaction and employees who thrive. It is therefore natural that Sara now takes full responsibility and continues the positive journey, while Leif can focus even more on Paritee projects,” says Karne Lykkebo, Group CEO of Geelmuyden Kiese. “Sara has everything we want in a leader – an excellent mindset, strong professional expertise and a unique eye for talent. We are very pleased that she is taking over the leadership to create an even stronger and larger Geelmuyden Kiese in Stockholm”.
Sara has previously been recognised both for her leadership and for her communications work, including being named one of the industry’s best managers by Resumé and for her work on several award-winning and globally recognised campaigns.
“I am both very happy and proud of the trust placed in me to take over as CEO of Geelmuyden Kiese. We have a unique position, interesting client assignments and some of the industry’s most driven and smartest employees. During my two years at Geelmuyden Kiese, I have experienced a rare ability to combine societal analysis and an understanding of complex regulatory challenges with creative solutions and often overlooked perspectives. I especially look forward to building further on that together with the team,” says Sara Wikberg.
