GK won world championship in content marketing

Geelmuyden Kiese (hereafter GK) won the award for world’s best content marketing campaign in London the 28th of november.

We are so proud! This shows that we are among the best globally when it comes to content marketing.

In competition against over 400 entries, GK won the main prize Grand Prix and two gold for the campaign “The Truckdriver’s mother” – a campaign aimed at foreign freight drivers on Norwegian roads. The campaign was commissioned by the Labour Inspection Authority and the Industry Transport Program, and the campaign film was seen by over 7 million in Europe. 

– “We have worked extremely hard for this, and it is fun for GK and the team to see that we succeed,” says Riibe, and emphasizes that the campaign is a result of a long-term strategy to become the best in content marketing.

– “GK shall be number one in creating content that creates value for its customers. Such campaigns are worthless if they do not have strategic approach. This is where we distinguish ourselves from our competitors,” says Nina Riibe.

– “We must also pay tribute to our customer the Labour Inspection Authority/Industry Transport Program for daring to explore new opportunities. The Labour Inspection Authority has given us the necessary confidence to create this innovative campaign,” Riibe continues.

In addition to winning the main prize, the same campaign also won gold in the categories “Best singular video” and “Best Specialist”.

GK also won silver in the categories “Best Specialist” and “Non-Retail Consumer” for the cooperation with the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection, thus winning two gold and two silver in addition to the main prize.

About the Content Marketing Awards

The Content Marketing Awards is an annual competition hosted by the Content Marketing Institute to recognize and reward the best content marketing projects, agencies and marketers in the industry every year. In 2017, over 400 contributions from 135 agencies in 23 countries was enrolled. They competed for prices in different parts of content marketing, from strategy to distribution, from design to editorial content. The Content Marketing Awards is the world’s largest content marketing award.
