Two Danes become partners in international agency group

The international agency group Paritee, which owns Scandinavian agency Geelmuyden Kiese as well as agencies in Germany and the UK, has appointed two Danes as partners. Karne Lykkebo and Rasmus Nygaard-Winther from the Geelmuyden Kiese Group will both become partners in Paritee while continuing in their roles at Geelmuyden Kiese from 17 March.

Two Danish communications profiles are taking an international step up and becoming partners in the agency group Paritee. The group was founded in 2021 and today has more than 400 employees and revenue of DKK 700 million. Paritee was established as an alternative to the traditional global agency groups and today owns agencies in the UK, the US, Germany and Scandinavia.

“We started Paritee with a vision of creating a new type of agency platform and collaboration model. The platform aims to connect strong national agencies that can work together for mutual benefit and offer clients expertise with deep industry knowledge,” says Jonas Palmqvist, CEO of Paritee.

Part of Paritee’s approach is also to create international career opportunities for partners and leaders in the national agencies. That is why the group is now adding Karne Lykkebo and Rasmus Nygaard-Winther to the partnership.

“We want to offer the very best people an opportunity to build an international career in the agency world. It is therefore a cornerstone of Paritee’s vision to offer partnership to the people who are both most important to our local agencies and who we know create unique solutions across the group,” says Jonas Palmqvist.

Rasmus Nygaard-Winther has been part of the Geelmuyden Kiese Group for six years and holds the role of Group Head of Public Affairs.

“Rasmus has a completely unique view of Public Affairs and has developed Geelmuyden Kiese’s offering tremendously in just a few years. Rasmus’ approach, where we focus on deep sector expertise with an understanding of companies’ business-strategic interests, combined with a modern approach to Public Affairs, has proven to be exactly right. It is an approach that influences the entire way Paritee works with Public Affairs, and it is therefore natural that Rasmus now joins Paritee as a partner,” says Jonas Palmqvist.

Karne Lykkebo has been part of Geelmuyden Kiese for more than 12 years, both as CEO of the Danish company and, since the summer of 2020, as CEO of the entire Geelmuyden Kiese Group.

“Karne has proven that she has an eye for both developing and running agencies. She has created fantastic results, both during her time in Denmark and as head of the whole of Geelmuyden Kiese, and she is therefore an obvious choice to continue the international work in Paritee,” says Jonas Palmqvist.
