On Wednesday 2 April, the international PR and communications industry gathered for the SABRE Awards in London. And what a celebration it was, with gold for the Yara work “Soil Poetry”.

Erik Lysø, Ole Henrik Stubberud, Trygve Tønnessen and Øystein Vik received the award in London.

The awards were presented at The Brewery in London, and Geelmuyden Kiese had four projects shortlisted in advance. “Soil Poetry” for Yara International, “MERtid” for Øst-Finnmarkrådet, “From petroleum to offshore” for the Norwegian Offshore Directorate and the rescue service “Minglei”, which Geelmuyden Kiese developed for its own presence during Arendalsuka.

It was “Soil Poetry” that secured the win in the Chemicals & Industrials category.

“Gold at SABRE, which may be the most important pure PR competition, is absolutely incredible. “Soil Poetry” is a project we are very proud of, so it is great fun that it made it all the way to the top with the jury,” says Ole Henrik Stubberud.

Earlier in the day, the awards in the in2 SABRE Awards had also been presented during the daytime seminar in2 Summit. Here too, Geelmuyden Kiese took home gold for the “Soil Poetry” campaign, this time in the Crowdsourcing & Co-creating category. “MERtid” and “Minglei” were each awarded a Certificate of Excellence.

Both the SABRE Awards and in2 SABRE are organised by PRovoke Media, formerly Holmes Report. The company is based in New York and London and is a leading source of news, insights and analysis for the PR industry. The competition is often referred to as the “World Championship in PR”.
