Geelmuyden Kiese brings in strong tech and security profile as associate partner

Adviser and board profile Kathrine Stampe Andersen joins as associate partner with solid experience in advanced technology, critical infrastructure, geopolitics and strategic advocacy.

Geelmuyden Kiese expands its partnership with the addition of Kathrine Stampe Andersen as associate partner. Kathrine has a strong background as a leader and strategic adviser in the technology and telecoms industry and has been part of the senior management teams at both TDC Group and the Danish Chamber of Commerce. Today, she works actively at the intersection of disruptive technologies, national and European security, critical value chains and geopolitics – as a board member, investor and adviser.

Through her roles at TDC Group and the Danish Chamber of Commerce, she has worked closely with companies, authorities and political decision-makers on strategic, regulatory and security-policy framework conditions. In addition, through extensive board work and advisory, she has built deep insight into emerging and dual-use technologies such as AI, quantum technology, advanced materials technology, cybersecurity and data – including as Chair of Atlant 3D and bmetric, Vice Chair of 2021.AI, and as a member of Innovation Fund Denmark’s investment committee for defence technologies, AI, quantum and space.

Kathrine is also affiliated as an external adviser to NATO DIANA and mentors and advises a number of deep-tech companies from DTU. Her work focuses particularly on the securitisation of technology value chains, European technological sovereignty and the scaling of advanced technologies in a geopolitical field of tension.

“Technology, defence and geopolitics are increasingly merging. Companies within advanced manufacturing, defence tech, quantum and critical infrastructure face a significantly more complex stakeholder and regulatory landscape. Kathrine has a rare combination of technological insight, board experience and political understanding that significantly strengthens our advisory,” says Mikkel Salgaard Bendtsen, CEO of Geelmuyden Kiese Denmark.

Kathrine sees the affiliation with Geelmuyden Kiese as an opportunity to bring her experience from corporate companies, start-ups, senior management and strategic advocacy even more clearly into play.

“Joining Geelmuyden Kiese is a natural extension of my work at the intersection of technology, security and social development. Disruptive technologies such as AI, quantum and advanced manufacturing are gaining increasing strategic importance – both commercially and geopolitically. Geelmuyden Kiese has a strong position within public affairs and strategic communications, and I look forward to working together on projects where technology, geopolitics and business are closely connected,” says Kathrine Stampe Andersen.
