Geelmuyden Kiese more than doubles operating profit in record year

Several years of targeted sector focus and advisory on some of Scandinavia’s most complex cases bring Geelmuyden Kiese its strongest result ever.

The Danish part of the Scandinavian society-focused agency Geelmuyden Kiese reached net revenue of DKK 84.7 million and gross profit of DKK 58.6 million in 2025. Operating profit more than doubled from DKK 7.2 million in 2024 to DKK 15.5 million in 2025.

The result comes after several years of targeted investment in specialised advisory within finance, energy, tech/telecoms, life sciences, mobility and defence – sectors where political decisions, regulation and market conditions have a major impact on companies’ business.

“For several years, we have been very conscious of what we want to be known for and particularly good at. Highly regulated sectors where complexity is high and where clients need experienced advisers close to management who can help them strengthen their business and realise their strategy. This year’s result shows that the strategy works,” says Mikkel Salgaard Bendtsen, partner and CEO of Geelmuyden Kiese in Denmark.

He also points out that 2025 was characterised by high activity in major transactions and strategic transformation processes.

“We have had an exceptionally strong year within corporate and financial communications. Among other things, we advised in connection with the formation of AL Sydbank, which is a significant chapter in recent Danish financial history. These are assignments where the combination of sector insight, strategic advisory and stakeholder understanding is crucial,” says Mikkel Salgaard Bendtsen.

At the same time, Mikkel Salgaard Bendtsen emphasises that the year’s result was created first and foremost through the interaction between the agency’s employees:

“A result like this is a huge team effort. Over several years, we have built a strong team of specialised advisers with deep insight into the sectors we work in. It is their ability to collaborate and understand our clients’ businesses that creates the foundation for advising our clients every single day on some of their most important decisions. That is the reason for the historic result.”

International outlook

Geelmuyden Kiese is part of the European advisory and communications group Paritee, which also has several Danish Geelmuyden Kiese partners among its owners.

In 2025, the Norwegian communications and public affairs agency Kruse Larsen became part of Paritee. Together with Geelmuyden Kiese, the group now brings together around 180 specialised advisers across Denmark, Norway and Sweden and forms one of the most significant professional environments within communications, public affairs and strategic advisory in Scandinavia.

“The result in Denmark is impressive and underlines the value of the long-term focus on specialised advisory and strong professional environments. With Kruse Larsen, we have brought together some of Scandinavia’s strongest advisory environments within communications and public affairs. Many of our clients operate across markets and demand advice that combines local insight with an international perspective and coordination,” says Karne Lykkebo, Group CEO of the Geelmuyden Kiese Group.

Paritee today has 17 offices and more than 500 advisers across Europe, the Middle East and the US.

“It is a significant strength that we can draw on some of Europe’s most skilled specialists within communications, public affairs and societal relations when we help clients with complex challenges across markets,” says Mikkel Salgaard Bendtsen.

Strong starting point for 2026

During 2025 and the beginning of 2026, Geelmuyden Kiese also strengthened its partnership with the addition of Michael Kristiansen and Kathrine Stampe Andersen as associate partners.

“We have entered 2026 with the strongest starting point in the company’s history, and the year already looks very promising. We have a talented team, a strong market position and a wide range of client relationships that give us a solid foundation for further development,” says Mikkel Salgaard Bendtsen.
