December 4, 2025Geelmuyden Kiese owners make another Nordic acquisition
Paritee, the European advisory and communications group, today announces the acquisition of the Norwegian communications and public affairs agency Kruse Larsen, which has 40 employees.
The fast-growing European advisory and communications group Paritee is acquiring Norwegian Kruse Larsen and its subsidiaries, which include the digital public affairs agency Pressure.
“Kruse Larsen and Pressure both bring strong capabilities within business-critical advisory, while Geelmuyden Kiese has built a broad Nordic platform within corporate communications. The purpose of Paritee is to bring leading agencies like these together in a strong community. Geelmuyden Kiese, Kruse Larsen and Pressure will each remain the best at what they do, but together we can deliver broader, deeper and more effective services. This is a major gain for our clients, and it makes each agency an even more rewarding place to work,” says Lars Erik Grønntun, Founder and Chairman of Paritee.
With this, Paritee builds further on recent acquisitions such as RPP Group in Brussels and Fenton Fitzwilliam in Ireland, the UK and Brussels. At the same time, the group takes another major step towards establishing a strong position in the Nordic market, where the group already owns Geelmuyden Kiese.
Paritee’s partnership also includes three Danes from Geelmuyden Kiese – Karne Lykkebo, Mikkel Salgaard Bendtsen and Rasmus Nygaard-Winther.
Strengthens position in the Nordic region
With the acquisition, Karne Lykkebo, Managing Partner and Group CEO of Geelmuyden Kiese Group, will take overall responsibility as Group CEO of Kruse Larsen.
“These are exceptionally strong brands that have been built to deliver what clients need, when they need it, and are backed by highly qualified employees. I look forward to working closely with the companies, both together and separately. It strengthens our ability to make use of the full Scandinavian and international ecosystem that has been created within Paritee,” says Karne Lykkebo.
Since its start in 2015, Kruse Larsen has developed into one of Norway’s leading advisory firms within strategic communications, political analysis and crisis management.
The agency has around 40 employees with expertise in energy and sustainability, real estate and urban development, finance, transport, health, seafood, international relations and defence/security.
Geelmuyden Kiese, with offices in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, contributes with complementary strengths, including experience within energy, finance, technology and telecommunications, mobility and infrastructure, defence and security, as well as health and life sciences.
Both companies will continue to serve clients independently of each other. At the same time, however, they will collaborate on delivering integrated solutions in cases where this creates added value.
In total, the Kruse Larsen group (including Pressure, Kime and Eggedosis) has combined net revenue of approximately EUR 7.5 million – corresponding to around DKK 56 million.
Together with Geelmuyden Kiese Group, which was acquired by Paritee in 2022, the combined companies will have net revenue of approximately EUR 25 million in the Nordic region.
The Paritee group now has total net revenue of more than EUR 75 million across its international operations, with 17 offices in 12 countries and ten agencies.
