Michael Kristiansen becomes associate partner at Geelmuyden Kiese

Experienced adviser in crisis communications and political advocacy joins the agency.

Geelmuyden Kiese is bringing in Michael Kristiansen as an associate partner, strengthening the agency’s strategy of gathering experienced advisers with unique insights, experience and networks. A strategy that strengthens solutions for clients in an increasingly complex political and societal landscape – across sectors and disciplines.

Mikkel Bendtsen, CEO of Geelmuyden Kiese Denmark, says:
“Michael Kristiansen has particular insight into and understanding of the processes that shape Danish politics and public debate. With Michael’s experience and analytical weight, both we and our clients gain access to unique knowledge, and we strengthen our overall strategic advisory for companies operating at the intersection of society, politics and business.”

In recent years, Geelmuyden Kiese has specialised in selected highly regulated and complex sectors such as energy, finance, tech/telecoms, mobility and life sciences.

Michael Kristiansen says:
“For some time, I have worked with Geelmuyden Kiese on a client project with a very complicated agenda and have been impressed by the agency’s professional depth and deep understanding of the challenges clients face. It is therefore a natural step to move closer together, and I look forward to becoming part of this strong professional environment as an associate partner.”

Kristiansen joins Geelmuyden Kiese as an associate partner and will continue his work in his own company, Kristiansen+Partners, alongside the role.

The associate partnership with Michael Kristiansen supports Geelmuyden Kiese Denmark’s growth ambition and strengthens the agency’s advisory to Danish and international companies that need to navigate a changing societal, media and stakeholder landscape.
