December 9, 2014Oslo Airport AS names Geelmuyden Kiese its new advertising and communications agency
– When entering into a new deal it was imperative to us to find an agency that could continue the fine work their predecessor Dinamo has done, and at the same time continue to build our brand, says Espen Ettre, commercial director, Oslo Airport. The decision fell on Geelmuyden Kiese simply because they submitted the best offer.
50 passengers per minute In little over two years, the new departures and arrivals hall opens at Oslo Airport. The gigantic site contains one of the largest building projects ever in Norwegian history. Building is now over halfway completed, and in 2017, the main airport of Norway will manage close to 300 000 airplane movements per year. 15 000 employees contribute to creating great customer experiences for the travellers, in an ever changing world.
– As the world around us changes, so must we, says Andreas Wabø, managing director of Geelmuyden Kiese. Our fundamental intention is to be a collaborative partner, and to provide a holistic and channel independent view on communications. Having OSL choose us in a large advertising agency pitch is a pleasant confirmation of the massive investment we have made in our advertising and content departments, says Andreas Wabø.
The best airport in Europe Oslo Airport is internationally recognized and among the most punctual in Europe. The airport’s ambition to become one of the best in Europe from travellers’ point of view creates exciting challenges for Geelmuyden Kiese.
– It is a vote of confidence that we win one of the most exciting pitches in the country, in competition with the leading advertising agencies, says Bård Hammervold, senior advisor in Geelmuyden Kiese. Continuing to develop and enhance one of the strongest brands in Norway demands that we employ the whole spectrum of competencies of Geelmuyden Kiese. We can hardly wait to get started, says Hammervold.
Along with Bård Hammervold, the Geelmuyden Kiese core team will consist of Eva Sannum, Vidar Singh, Petter Herming, Cathrine Lorvik, Lars Nermoen and Andreas Wabø.
