Paritee acquires consultancy RPP Group in Brussels

Today Paritee, the European network of communications agencies, announced the acquisition of RPP Group – a leading public affairs consultancy headquartered in Brussels, specialising in health, life sciences and other highly regulated sectors. The acquisition strengthens Paritee’s presence in Brussels and expands the company’s pan-European expertise in regulated and politically driven sectors.

RPP Group was founded in 2002 and works with advocacy and public affairs in some of Europe’s most regulated sectors. The consultancy combines deep sector expertise with a strong sense of responsibility in its work with Europe’s political and social agenda – and is today a recognised and trusted adviser across Europe. With more than 60 consultants representing over 16 nationalities, RPP Group operates from offices in Brussels, Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Rome and London.

“RPP Group brings significant expertise in European public affairs and a leading position in health and life sciences. Above all, RPP stands out as one of Brussels’ most trusted consultancies through its exceptional employees and strong leadership,” says Jonas Palmqvist, CEO of Paritee and new Chairman of RPP Group.

The acquisition supports the continued expansion of Paritee’s network in the EMEA region and strengthens the company’s strategically important presence in Brussels – the heart of European politics. Together with its other public affairs agencies Brands2Life (UK/USA), Fenton Fitzwilliam (Ireland/Brussels), Geelmuyden Kiese (Denmark, Norway and Sweden) and LHLK Group (Germany), the addition of RPP Group will strengthen Paritee’s ability to advise clients across borders, win international mandates and attract the best talent.

“Becoming part of Paritee is both a natural step and a proud moment for us. It marks the beginning of a new chapter in which we build on our activities in Brussels and connect them to a broader European presence. Our culture, values and entrepreneurial spirit will remain unchanged, but our reach and influence will grow. We will continue to build on our expertise in health and life sciences while also expanding into other societally relevant areas such as energy and technology, where we have already created a solid foundation and see a growing client base,” says Lutz Dommel, CEO of RPP Group.

RPP Group will continue under its existing brand, led by Dommel as CEO. He will also become a partner in Paritee and a member of the group’s Executive Committee. The management team – including Kit Greenop, who is a key driving force in RPP Group’s health work and will also become a partner in Paritee – will continue to develop the consultancy’s position in public affairs and advocacy by building on its recent growth and contributing to Paritee’s long-term objectives.

RPP founder Sebastian Rohde and main shareholder Dr Marc-Angelo Bisotti will both become co-owners of Paritee as part of the acquisition. After developing RPP Group into one of Europe’s leading public affairs consultancies in the health sector, Rohde will continue as a senior adviser, while Dr Bisotti will focus on his AI-driven policy data company.

“The acquisition of RPP Group reflects our focused growth strategy. We are expanding our presence in markets and sectors where we can create real value for our clients. The addition of RPP Group strengthens our position in some of Europe’s most regulated and strategically important sectors and markets and marks a clear shift in our expansion across key markets. At the same time, it positions Paritee as an ambitious challenger on the international communications scene,” says Lars Erik Grønntun, Founder and Executive Chairman of Paritee.

The addition of RPP Group underlines Paritee’s position as a new type of collaboration-driven European agency platform. Overall, the group now generates more than EUR 60 million in annual revenue and employs around 500 people across 16 offices in 12 markets.
