Geelmuyden Kiese wins 2 x gold at the European Excellence Awards

On Friday evening, the European Excellence Awards took place in Berlin. It ended with two gold awards for Geelmuyden Kiese for projects carried out for Stockholm Film Festival and Yara International.

“Two gold awards in what is often referred to as the European Championship in PR is a big achievement. You compete against recognised agencies from across Europe, so reaching the very top here means a lot,” says Ole Henrik Stubberud, partner and creative director at Geelmuyden Kiese.

Geelmuyden Kiese had four nominations in advance, two for each project. “Who will grow the future?” for Yara International was nominated in the categories Video Series and Industrial, Engineering & Manufacturing. “Not Just Stockholm Film Festival” was nominated in the categories Small Budget Campaign and Immersive Brand Experience.

Stockholm Film Festival took the gold in the Immersive Brand Experience category.

“Not Just Stockholm Film Festival is a project we are very proud of. Together with Rocket Science and the client, we have been allowed to create something that is clearly appreciated by juries in a number of competitions – everything from Cannes Lions and Epica to pure PR competitions like this one. Ending 2025 with gold here in Berlin is fantastic,” says Sara Wikberg, account lead for Stockholm Film Festival and Country Director of Geelmuyden Kiese Sweden.

The work for Yara International secured gold in the Industrial, Engineering and Manufacturing category. “Who will grow the future?” is a project that sits right at the heart of what Geelmuyden Kiese delivers as a society-focused agency and demonstrates how we combine strategic communication with a clear social purpose and contribute to solutions to key challenges through insight, storytelling and engagement.

“Who will grow the future?” is the latest in a long line of Yara projects that have performed extremely well in international communications awards. Last year and in 2022, Geelmuyden Kiese also won gold at the European Excellence Awards for the same client.

“Although we have previously won both here and in other competitions with Yara, this gold tastes at least as good. Thank you and congratulations again to both Yara and Copenhagen Film Company, which we also collaborated with on this project,” says Ole Henrik Stubberud.
